Menopause in the Philippines 2027: tell us your story, anonymously
Editorially reviewed on October 29, 2026Medical review: pending
Quick answer
We are running an anonymous survey of Filipinas in perimenopause and menopause: what symptoms you have, what your doctor said, whether you tried HRT, how it affects work, and what it costs. It takes about 10 minutes, asks for no name or email, and the results will be published free for everyone. The survey form is not live yet:.
Why we are asking
There is very little Philippine data on menopause. The studies we could find are small, or old, or from one town. No one has asked Filipinas across the country simple questions like: did your OB take your symptoms seriously? Did you know HRT is sold here? What did it cost?
We hear the stories on Reddit: "walang doktor na naniniwala sa mga sintomas ko", "my obgyn does not prescribe". Stories matter, but numbers get attention from doctors, employers and journalists. This survey turns your experience into evidence.
What we will ask
- Your age range and region (no exact address).
- Which symptoms you have had, and how much they bother you.
- When your periods changed or stopped.
- Whether you saw a doctor, what kind, and how the conversation went.
- Whether you have used hormone therapy, non-hormonal medicines or supplements, and what got in the way.
- How menopause affects your work, sleep and relationships.
- What you spend on consults, tests and medicines.
Every question is optional. You can skip anything.
Your privacy
- Anonymous. No name, email or phone number is required.
- No tracking link to you. We will not connect survey answers to your use of our tools. Our tools keep your data on your device and never send it to us; see privacy by design.
- Reported in groups only. Results are published as totals and percentages, never as individual answers. Small groups that could identify someone are combined or left out.
- Free text answers may be quoted without any identifying detail. If you would rather not be quoted, say so in the last question.
We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
