HOW WE MAKE MONEY

How Menopause Philippines makes money

Editorially reviewed on October 29, 2026Medical review: pending

Quick answer

Every page and tool on this site is free. We earn when you book a doctor's consult or a lab test through some of our partner links, and from some links to non-prescription products such as supplements. We never sell prescription medicines and we earn nothing from them.

Where the money comes from

  1. Consult bookings. When you book a teleconsult or clinic visit through links such as Doctor Anywhere, NowServing or Hati Health, we may receive a referral fee. You pay the provider's normal price.
  2. Lab and imaging bookings. Some links to labs and imaging centres (FSH, thyroid tests, DXA scans, mammograms) may pay us a referral fee.
  3. Supplement and non-prescription product links. Some links to supplements, calcium, vaginal moisturisers and similar products, for example through iHerb or Watsons, may earn us a small commission.

All partner links on the site go through a /go/ address so we can keep them up to date in one place.

What we never earn from

  • Prescription medicines. Hormone therapy (estradiol gel, micronized progesterone, tibolone and others) and non-hormonal prescription options are never sold by us and never linked for commission. Philippine law bars advertising prescription medicines to the public (FDA AO 65), and a prescription should come from your doctor, not from a website.
  • Compounded "bioidentical" hormone clinics. We do not link to them or take their money.
  • Drug company sponsorship. None.

Does money change our ratings?

No. A supplement we link to still gets an honest rating. The Menopause Society 2023 nonhormone statement does not recommend herbal remedies or soy for hot flashes, and our supplements and supplement checker pages say that, including about products that pay us. If the evidence is weak we say "weak". If a cheaper option works as well, we say that too.

Partners cannot buy a better position in our find a doctor guide or our price lists. Prices come from public sources with the date checked.

What comes next: our own telehealth

The owner of this site plans to launch a menopause telehealth service later: consults with menopause-literate, PRC-licensed Philippine doctors, lab orders, e-prescriptions for registered medicines, and delivery from a licensed pharmacy. When that launches, it will appear in the same places our booking partners appear now, and we will say clearly on this page that it is our own service.

Even then, the doctor decides whether you need a prescription. The site's content rules stay the same: registered products first, honest evidence, no personal dosing on the site, and red flags sent straight to care.

Why we tell you this

You deserve to know who benefits when you click. If you would rather not use a partner link, search for the provider directly. The information on this site is the same either way.

Frequently asked questions

Do you earn from HRT prescriptions?

No. We never sell or earn commission on prescription medicines.

Do I pay more if I book through your link?

No. You pay the provider's normal price. Any referral fee comes from the provider.

Do partners pay for good reviews?

No. Ratings follow the evidence and published guidelines, whether or not a product earns us money.

Will you have your own clinic?

The owner plans a menopause telehealth service with licensed Philippine doctors. When it launches we will label it clearly as ours.
