HRT options in the Philippines: a one-page printable
Editorially reviewed on October 29, 2026Medical review: pending
Quick answer
Menopause hormone therapy has a few building blocks: an estrogen (gel or tablet), a progestogen to protect the womb lining if you still have a uterus, or tibolone as a single tablet, plus vaginal estrogen for dryness. This one-pager lists each type, what is actually sold in the Philippines, and the price at a named pharmacy. All are prescription only, and your doctor decides what fits you.
How to read this sheet
- Generic name first, then the brand found in Philippine retail.
- Prices are single-item retail prices from one pharmacy with the date checked. They are not monthly costs. For example monthly totals, use the cost calculator on costs. Example only, your doctor sets your dose.
- "Not available in PH retail" means we did not find it at any Philippine retailer we checked. It may still be registered; ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Everything here needs a prescription. We do not sell medicines.
Bring this sheet to your consult with the Health Report to talk about options. For the full explanation, read HRT for menopause, try the HRT options explorer, and see HRT and cancer for risks in numbers.
Who needs a progestogen?
If you still have a uterus, estrogen alone can thicken the womb lining, so a progestogen is added to protect it. If you have had a hysterectomy, you usually need estrogen only. With sequential HRT you take the progestogen for part of each month and usually get a monthly bleed; with continuous combined HRT you take both daily and usually aim for no bleeding (The Menopause Society 2022).
